i'm a virgin - beginner's mind
what's the point of a blog? i mean - don't i have enough to do already?
why on earth would i want to start blogging in my life? i 'm already an excellent multi-tasker and don't even have enough time to capitalize my letters. if i want to write for writing's sake, i'll just do it at home in my journal.
jules' refrain that "this is college" just doesn't do it for me. how does this enrich my life? add value to my living?
it seems to create more distance between "the divine and the human" to quote senor borges. i'd like to move closer to the divine.

And how long did the Luddites last? About as long as a dinosaur in a snow storm!
Students use blogs as online research logs, a communications platform, thought journals, self-help with computing, stuff like that.
The goal is to make the jump from blogging for blogging's sake, to using the blog as an organizing tool. Having stuff online, for instance, means you don't have to always look for your disk or carry your laptop with you. And you don't have to worry too much about your stuff online being visible to the world - most of us can't get people to read our blogs if we paid them.
I like to link news stories and make editorial comments about them on my blog. We discuss news items germaine to our program content on the program blog, post seminar papers, and so on.
