Climate Change workshop, website, and wiki

Last week I participated in a great Chautauqua workshop on Climate Change by Richard gammon at UW Seatlle. Here's a website I made with some resources from the workshop:

This week I hope to learn to make a Wiki to link to that website, so participants can keep in touch and keep sharing resources. Wiki workshop courtesy of Amy Greene et al at Evergreen, who's teaching me right now to write this blog.

Go see The Inconvenient Truth in theatres! It's just the tip of the iceberg - we are likely to double the CO2 content in the atmosphere in our lifetime.

Armstrong-zita ranch

June 2006 - we're growing our little herd of beef. We have two steers and two heifers, all hereford cross. The oldest heifer we bred Tuesday! Soon we won't have to buy calves anymore. When they are all born here, we will know they have been raised and fed organic from the very start.

We need more sheep to keep the tree farm mowed. Do you know anyone who's selling sheep? Email me at zita@evergreen.edu. We'd also like to buy a little angus bull and a couple more young steers.

The less we mow, the less we contribute to global warming. See The Inconvenient Truth in theatres, and check out my webpage for our Chautauqua workshop on Climate Change last week (will post shortly)
