This is the last one, I promise. It's just too good.
I'm at my internship right now and Paul told me about a bunch of really awesome blogs and sites by librarians. Of course, I was immediately sidetracked by the hot merch
My favorites were 'you can check out anything with your library card, except the librarian' and 'librarians do it in the stacks' just for Ilana - "I'd rather be reading Jane Austin' with a nice glamor shot of the writer herself.
but other rad ones are:

For all of us that would like our own Foucault action figure - you may be disappointed. Check out this link for further information on (not) obtaining your own!

I remembered where I heard Klattu Barata Nicto other than The Day the Earth Stood Still!
Its what Bruce Campbell says when he has to grab the Necrinomicon in Army of Darkness!
B-movie archetypes:

We're all librarians here...and we have things to decide on Friday!
1. What is our content? What are our specific content areas?
2. What will our wire frame look like?
3. Should we each contribute to a single research/reference page, one that covers all content areas, or each do our own?
4. What template should we adopt? What's our look and feel?
5. Should we stick our webdev coding into a wiki? How do we have the best of all possible worlds?
Please comment...answer....speculate...and otherwise put two centses in.
I've found some information on The Chicago Public Library and Cultural Center as a Chicago landmark.
And a nice picture:

Here's a really big one.
I wish I had taken a couple shots, because it is way cooler up close.
