im sick, back at home, and trying to find my way to San Fran to go to alcatraz... as it looks to be a island like no other. but im sick and dont know if i should drive 13 hours. ok so maybe go north... and see the Washington islands... i dont know, i will do something not so lame, as soon as im not sick.

Diveing is done with, not quite how i planed... but done, and that leaves the door open to new things! I went with Da Tim to look at his sailing school and it looked rather cool, so now im doing that. Not as much as tim but when we get back together we could run a boat and have a good-ol-time. we right now are checked out of the place we have been staying and are on the move the the north end of the island, and i dont know how we will be able to yse the internet when we get there, so if i dont talk to anyone thats probably why. as of now the reason that i have not, is that im lazy. but with sailing school starting up and all lazy is out, and um, not lazy is in. also, Hesper i hope bean is ok, and that you and Rika are doing super well. I keep watching europen news and hoping to see you two at some big party festivle thing.

Okay so as i was walking to ues the internet today, two things happend, one i foundout that i was walking past a hospitle everyday.... Two, a little boy started to get up off his mothers lap and loudly spoke at me, now i did not understand what he said, as he spoke quickly in Thai but his mother held him down as he smiled at me, i smiled back and waved, never saying a word. The kid half screemed and laughed in joy, his mother smiled and nodded at me as i kept walking. ok so this probably means very little to all of you but atleast i found a hospitle. thats always good, i guess.
Hope everyone finds a cool little kid today and you both find a happy moment together.

So Tim and i are here together in Thailand, hangen... you know do'n the island life thing. I (now know as Albert) Tim (now known as... well i dont remember that) and Tims uncle (known as Eggbert) be here and are doing everything to be done. Yesterday we went south and got us a dude with water floting deal, he took us all round the waters and we fed tropical fish by hand as they swam round us. we had dinner served to us on the beach only feet from the water (and it was damn good food), enjoyed WONDERFULL views and relaxing foot masashes (yeah i cant spell, and im to lazy to use the delete key... onword with my ramble!). O'yeah, so TV here sucks... but at 2 or 3 in the morning theres not much to do, our saving grace came in the form of the wonderful Tommy Lee Jones / Big Willy Will Smith movie "Men In Black II", o what luck we be have'n! The food on the streets here is wonderful.... mmmm.... im hungry, and there is a place on my way back in to town that has wafuls for $0.12 US, AND THEY BE GOOD!!! o man is this place cheep, i had my hair put into cornrows for 5 bucks! 5 BUCKS!!! thats like anywhere between 45 and 120 dollers back home. and Poky (the little sticks of cookie with a flavor on the outside are sold here at a woping $0.34 wow, expencive. so if you want any let me know. this be your chance. anyhow i miss you all and hope that prices back home have droped to match, as it may be a shock for me when i get there :-)

ok so, here we go... i am making a change to my project, as i can not find Thaimusic on this island... but have found another i will go to for some time. I will however not find any Thai music there, but i will find another island that has been filled with US culture (pop mostly) and then can do a fairly strong comparason between the two, on the US culture invasion / changes made for the Europeens who come here. its all europens, lots of them, dirty ones, and even though they are everywhere yes it is fun, in that im dodging old men way. also Tim did get here last night, to Patong, the town that i have been in. and we went out for food and all making my life much better. if my new plan of looking at the culture change fails in some way (i dont think i can) then i will look at maybe taking photos of men with prostatues and sending them to there wives.
so i dont sleep here, last night was the most sleep i got from the time i left, 3 hours so then i sit around till after 10 when things here open... kinda open, like they open there doors but sometimes theres no one inside to help you, then i walk around and do the Email, Blog, computer thing for a bit, befor i walk around more, then after 5 or 6 other people wake up and comeout also, but they all speek every language thats not english... or are old dirty men looking to find sex for money. and i dont want to talk to them (horny old men like that scare me) so i sit around at bars talking to strange people (theres a nice girl at one that i like talking to, but her english is not good) and trying to make due with the time i have... when the night comes i go back to my hotel and shower all the sweat off me (then i smell ok) and go back outside and avoid being hit on by the prostatutes.

its me again from Thailand, the island of Phuket, trying to find Tim, and trying to feel a little less lost, as it turns out from the now old email from tim and talking to him the other night or time that not now... he is not in my airea. this makes things hard, but i have talked to strange people and run-around all the same.. and in talking to people i have begun to understand what music they like... OURS!!!
i dont know that it was nessasary to come half way round the world for this. but tis good that i did.
