I'm back
Well, I've sort of neglected writing this final entry for the last week. I've been back since the 18th and everything is starting to come into place again. Read on to see what happened in my final days. I left you in Paraparaumu.

So my trip is finally coming to an end. I'm hopping around on various buses and trains now on my way back up to Auckland. I fly out on the 18th here and get back the same day in WA, but about 45 minutes before I leave. I love time travel. This will be my last post before I get back, read on if you care to. It's the usual mind numbing format.
Okay, so a week has past and I've seen a lot more that only furthur convinces that the south/west portion on the South Island is definatly the place to be.
read on for the details.

So I've once again neglected this whole weblog thing for awhile. I don't really feel like going over the whole week again so here is just a summary.
So I'm back. I have no major new injuries and am happy to have had a break from the bike for a while. I'll start where I left off, in Picton, damaged and tired.
I'm going on a bit of a backpacking trip for the next week or two, or three. I may be out of contact for awhile, so this is just a heads up. I'll be in the Kahurangi National Park, going out of the Flora Saddle trail head and will eventually be ending up around the town of Little Wanganui on the west coast. When I get back to civilization i'll post an update. Until then, later.
So once again I've neglected to update this weblog for more than a week. As usual to save money this is being typed quickly and without a read over to please excuse splelling mistakes and grammar. Read on to find out what has happened.
Since I've skimped on the details in my last couple of posts I've decided to go back and start from the begining, with ah.... slightly more detail.
Sorry about my inability to put out comprehensive posts but the web goes for around $10 an hour around here and I simply can't afford it. So here are the basics on what has happened without to much explaination. Also exsucse the spelling I'm trying to type fast to get in under the $4 for 15 minute deal!
Finally here and alive. I'm staying this first night at a hostel in central Auckland and if all goes well will be heading out of the city in the morning. I don't have much time left here, but I will put up a more detailed post in the comming days.
Hope everyone is doing well.
I just got back from Seattle where I helped build the bike I will be taking with me to New Zealand. I did it with a friend Andy, who graciously spent the last week rummaging around and finding components, frame, and accessories not to mention taking the whole day to help me out with putting it together.
The frame is a Centurion Super Le Mans of probably a 1977 vintage and is complemented with a mix of Campagnolo, Shimano and SunTour components.
The server I've had my weblog installed on appears to be missing the Perl Image module needed to upload and imbead images into posts, until I figure out how to install this module in my home directory on my own server and more importantly figure out how to syndicate that site here using it's rss feed I will continue to use this weblog. I may however move it to a different directory on Grace, so in the future look for it at

I've had a weblog system up for a while and would just prefer to use that. This one however will mirror my real logs entrys. To see the real weblog go here:
