NAZIS IN OLY? 4-2-06

Well, I went on the hunt for nazis today with a small group composed of small so-called peace/diversity groups. One woman had a sign that said "Jews Against the War" another young white woman waved her father's american peace flag (instead of stars a white peace symbol surrounded by american blue). I turned on the camera at Heritage Park by the bath house of a tent adorned with rainbow flags, a lady was instructing the sparse crowd of protesters to go to the capital where these Nazis would be. A tall slender woman stepped up to the podium demanding those with sensitive ears leave if they couldn't stomach racial epithets. ????? I wonder whom she was talking to. Anyways, as the dedicated crowd charged up the hill a little boy began singing his ABC's I thought that was special...Uh. Anyway, security was so tight you would have thought the it was the president they were escorting out of harms way from the 20 protesters. I missed a classic shot of Nazis sitting comfortably in a blue trooper van but I did get a handy cam shot of them getting into their Ford Blazer. Not quite the excitement I was hoping for but I'm sure it'll be useful somewheres.

Hi. Just letting you know that I enjoyed your site. red is feature of beautiful round

what camera are u currently using? looks good musta been hard trying to work with something you didn't necessarily expect or plan out...limit yourself...use resistraint...sure you only have ten minutes but baby step...ease folks in hella people aren't ready for what you experience...

interesting subject title. i was encouraged to read more. i am unclear at who the people in blue were and who these "nazis" were and what they were promoting...is it war? becuz im a contradicted by the woman with the 'jews against the war'. do u think they were using the word nazi as a form of substitution for the republican party and President Bush? I am interested in how words merge together or the way people use words to create something new to explain or label another thing. i wonder if this could help your project? you are on the right track of not wanting to slandor anyone or have your story as another victim story....could u use your footage to reexplain and use the core of what 'institutionalized racism' is? u did a great job about this in your powerpoint.

how would you like to narrow your footage and this idea of 'looking for nazis' into your experiences as a student in Evergreen's community?
