Everything's Coming Up Maggie
I have encountered an enormous amount of luck this week. Upon making about a dozen phone calls this last week, I managed to wrangle up a solid group of people who were willing to help me in both Olympia and beyond. Both video people and friends alike will be helping me out with my shoot. While this may seem like a minor achievement that should have been achieved about a week ago, I have truly been touched by all the support that I have received from my peers. It is definitely going to be a relief to rely on the creative eye of others. As the weeks progressed into full-time production mode, I had become quite nervous by the notion that I alone would have to make sure that the focus, framing, and lighting were all in check while simultaneously acting as the talent for my television show. The thought of having a crew not only eases this pressure but will also allow for some fresh artistic direction. Unfortunately, I don't have much to add this week as I have only been creeping toward production this quarter yet, with friends and optimism on my side, I know that I'll be more than prepared for this upcoming surge of work.
