Complmentry Museum: The Philadelphia Zoo
On Tuesday I visited the Philadelphia Zoo. I figured since I spent two weeks looking at stuffed animals, I could see some real animals. I enjoyed my time at the zoo throughly. I forgot how exciting it is to see real animals roaming around. The zoo is very nice. Most of the "houses" have a corporate sponser of some kind (i.e. Bank of America Big Cat Falls). This revenue enables the zoo to do plenty of philinthropic work for animals around the world, as well as take care of animals in an extensive veteriary program. The zoo is very well set up. If you choose to go in any one direction, you will see everything, as the path leads to all exibits. However, if you do happen to miss something, there are pathways that connect the zoo together. The habitats for the animals were nice. They had plenty room to run around and play. The zoo also tells you where you might be able to see the animals if they are not in plain sight. I enjoyed the small animal houses. There were many cool animals to look at. One thing I did find is that it is much harder to draw moving animals! Overall I had a fun and informative time at the Philadelphia zoo.
