2 More Weeks
This week was pretty crazy since the end of the year is fast approaching considering there are now2 ½ weeks left of class. For French, I'm writing a paper where I have to compare two films we've seen throughout the quarter. I'm going to write about the difference in themes between a couple movies that I've seen this quarter, but which two movies exactly I haven't completely decided on. I also had an interview this week for a job, and I think it went pretty well considering it lasted three hours long! There was an interview with a panel, the director, and then someone else who works in the office. The good thing is that these folks are going to make decisions pretty fast so I should hear back in the first week of June if I got the job or not. I am getting ready for graduation too which is on June 13th. I have a bunch of family coming from New York and Los Angeles and I am so excited to see all of them, as it has been quite some time since I've seen my family. Graduation is so cool at Evergreen because I know that when I think of a graduation, I think of something in a large auditorium where they just read a bunch of names, while Evergreen's approach is a little different. Last year, as the students came through red square to take their seats professors were blowing bubbles at them, and they were following behind a huge circus act. There were people on stilts and others juggling these rings of fire, while others were drumming away. No matter what ends up happening this year, I know it's going to be something just as fun and exciting as what I've seen in the past, the only difference being that I will be one of those students in cap and gown!
