A long-standing Evergreen Tradition, this is a two-day event which celebrates culture, heritage and community. On the Day of Absence, students, staff and faculty of color are invited to an off-campus community-building retreat. On-campus events such as ally-building workshops take place in our absence. The Day of Presence represents the reuniting of our community and consists of campus-wide workshops, seminars and performances.

The Day of Absence/Day of Presence Committee is pleased to announce our final schedule of the exciting lineup of presenters for our upcoming February events. Members from our very own wonderful staff and faculty as well as guest speakers such as noted activist, Paul Kivel, Tai Ji master Chungliang Al Huang, and author, James Loewen, will all be part of this year's fantastic schedule. Some events require pre-registration.
