About Admin ITCH
Description:
The Administrative Priorities is one of the three major groups of the Information Technology Collaborative Hive (ITCH). (See all groups on the left hand navigation bar.) The Administrative ITCH works to prioritize the many projects and initiatives which serve the administrative needs of the College, and which most typically require the involvement of Administrative Computing to accomplish.
This group meets regularly to review and prioritize the current projects list and to discuss new items to include. In addition, the group invites community members – especially those interested in new IT solutions and key stakeholders for projects already requested to describe their needs for IT support so that decisions can be made with all the requisite information. Meetings are open to anyone who is interested in attending.
Finally, this group is responsible for making periodic prioritized budget recommendations to the Core ITCH group and to College officials developing strategic plans and budget requests.
The coordinator of the Administrative ITCH group attends Core ITCH meetings where participants from Administrative and Academic ITCH groups convene. The Core meeting helps to ensure that issues may be viewed from the perspective of the whole group, so that duplications of work may be eliminated and collaborative solutions sought.
