In 2007-2008 there are two program with specific focus on Puppet Theatre:

PERFORMING ARTS LABORATORY/ Fall 2007- Winter 2008: This program consists of three interdependent tracks: Odissi (traditional dance form Orissa in India - taugh by Guru Dr. Ratna Roy), Avant-Garde Theatre taught by Dr. Walter E. Grodzik, and the Experimental Puppet and Object Theatre track, facilitated by Professor Ariel Goldberger. Students register in one of the tracks and will focus on the track they chose for two quarters. All three tracks will have weekly workshops offered by the faculty of the three tracks on a week by week rotational basis. To register in the puppetry track, use the specific CRN number for this track. More information on this class will be posted after Sept 15.

STUDENT ORIGINATED STUDIES/ Fall 2008- Winter 2009

EXPERIMENTAL PUPPET AND OBJECT THEATRE/SPRING 2009

Because of Evergreen's interdisciplinary bent, you may be able to successfully present Puppet Theatre projects in many programs that don't specifically list it as an included discipline. We recommend proposing this to the faculty before you register. E-mail, Academic fair, or regular faculty open Office Hours are a good place to do that.
